Day 1: New Moon

On the trail of Hanna Courtoy.

Failed to read heiroglyphics on tomb entrance.

Failed to pick the lock but the crowbar worked first time.

Henry failed to recognise the significance of visions assaulting his mind.
Faced an Omphalian Horror armed with a knife.  Good parrying meant 38 HPs were taken by the beast and a deft parry finished it off.  A spot of first aid staunched the bleeding from the beast's claws; HP loss was kept to 15 points.

Henry holds strong against a psychic attack in the next room. Regaining his breath, Henry adjusts his makeshift bandages to improve HP to within 1 of max.  Just a bit of a sting, it'll be alright.

And further, in the next room, a palpable sense of dread is shaken off, but Henry was close to giving into the fear.

Another Horror!   After seemingly learning how these creatures move and strike, this specimen was dispatched with much more ease, finishing with a sweeping strike (critical hit).  Only 11 HPs lost to the beast's claws, which are patched up nicely.

Henry deftly avoids a tripwire trap in the next room.

The next room's fountain waters taste sweet.  The wounds bound by makeshift bandages are eased.  As Henry was already at full HP, this is only a relief to Henry's spirit; the goddess is looking kindly down on him.

Another Horror: this time a ferocious beast indeed!  6 palpable strikes from it's talons hurt Henry to the tune of 72 HP.  First Aid helps to alleviate to reduce it to only 38 HPs lost.  Returning to the previous room, the goddess still shines brightly over Henry's head and returns another 13 HP.

Henry pushes forward to be met by a wave of rats.  Keeping calm the wave washes around him without causing any harm to them or him.

The next room with a sleeping woman, contains some first aid supplies and an Ivory Knife of Bocchus, positively ID'd by Henry.  Henry fails to bind his wounds any better with the bandages and heads into the next room with the items.

The next room is resplendent with gifts from the goddess.  Henry's attention is drawn to a bowl containing a quantity of coins (60 Obols) and he fills his pockets.  Thanking the goddess he moves on full of reverence.

Yet another Horror awaits in the next room.  Armed with the knife of Bocchus, although the beast gets several strong ripping strikes in, Henry soon makes short work of the creature.  It reels with the strong cuts that the knife gives freely and presently lies lifeless on the chamber's floor.

The next room presents a forceful wind.  Henry almost makes it to the other side (5 attribute tests successful) but stumbles at the last and draws blood from his lip.  Picking himself up again he reaches the exit and finds that he has passed the Trial of Omphale.
